Jayati Ghosh is Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She previously taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, a public research university known for social sciences and public policy studies. Her research focuses on globalization, international trade and finance, macroeconomic policy, employment patterns, gender, poverty, and inequality.
