Basima Abdulrahman

Basima Abdulrahman is a United Nations Climate Change COP Impact Maker and the founder and CEO of KESK, Iraq's pioneering Greentech company focused on integrating renewable energy solutions with cloud technologies for sustainable energy generation. She has been recognized as a 2025 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and was named one of BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women in 2023. Basima is also a laureate of the Cartier Women’s Initiative and the ExpoLive Global Innovators Award. She holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is an accredited LEED AP BD+C professional.
