Francesco Starace

Francesco Starace is a Partner at EQT, where he supports the infrastructure business line’s investment activity and portfolio companies. He previously served as CEO and General Manager of Enel from 2014 to 2023, where he drove the company’s shift away from fossil-fuelled generation to become one of the world’s largest renewable energy producers. He chairs the Science Based Targets initiative and the Board of the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), and previously served two terms on the Board of the UN Global Compact.
