Rawlsian intergenerational justice
Due to the impact of current policy and legislation on future generations, intergenerational justice has become an integral part of environmental policy and law. The problem is that cooperation typically occurs between people living on the same territory and at the same time, which gives rise to theories of justice that are typically specific to one generation.
