Meenakshi Viswanathan

Meenakshi Viswanathan is an energy finance analyst in South Asia at the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis, a global think tank focused on energy markets, trends, and policies. She works on financing aspects of the renewable energy transition, contributing to analysis on sustainable finance and energy systems. She previously worked with a non-profit organization in New York, advising local governments on clean energy grants, emissions tracking, and climate action plans. Meenakshi holds a Master’s in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University.
