Maurizio Valsania is an Associate Professor of American History at the University of Turin. He holds a Ph.D. in History of Philosophy from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and a Laurea in Philosophy from the University of Turin, where he received the Emilio Bocca Prize. His research focuses on the history of the Early American Republic, 18th-century sexuality and masculinity, and the intersections of social, intellectual, and material history.
