Liu Gang

Prof. Dr. Liu Gang is Chair Professor of Industrial Ecology at Peking University. His research focuses on the stocks and flows of materials and energy through economies and their environmental impacts, with applications across metal cycles, agri-food systems, urban development, and low-carbon technologies. He serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Industrial Ecology and has published in leading journals. He is a recipient of the Robert A. Laudise Medal from the International Society for Industrial Ecology and the James J. Morgan Early Career Award from Environmental Science & Technology.
