Dr. Leroy Little Bear is a renowned Blackfoot scholar and founding member of Canada’s first Native American Studies Department at the University of Lethbridge. He served as Director of the Harvard Native American Program and helped establish the country’s only Bachelor of Management in First Nations Governance. A recipient of the Order of Canada and Alberta Order of Excellence, he co-led the historic Buffalo Treaty and continues to advance Indigenous knowledge systems and education.
