Owen Hewlett

Owen Hewlett is the Chief Technical Officer at Gold Standard, where he oversees standards development and innovation. He led the development of pioneering climate and SDG standard, Gold Standard for the Global Goals as well as the organisation’s attainment of ISEAL member status. Owen's portfolio of innovations includes gender-responsive frameworks, value chain intervention approaches, and impact fund verification methodologies. He also serves as a Technical Council Member at the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and as a member of the AIM Platform Secretariat, ascending as a leading voice on the role of high-integrity carbon markets in driving systemic change.
