Nathan Cooper

Nathan Cooper is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Waikato, specializing in the intersection of environmental law and human rights law. His research explores the compatibility of rights claims with ecologically sustainable governance. Nathan's work also addresses the role of vernacular law and grassroots movements in achieving ecological justice and welfare. He earned his PhD in Law from the University of Sheffield.
