Monsignor Michael Landau is the President of Caritas Europa, a prominent network of 49 member organizations across 46 European countries dedicated to combating poverty and promoting social justice. He also serves as the President of Caritas Austria, a position he has held since 2013, guiding the organization's domestic and international humanitarian initiatives. Previously, he served as the Director of Caritas Vienna for over two decades, where he pioneered numerous social welfare and integration projects. Monsignor Landau holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Vienna and completed his theological studies at the University of Vienna and the Catholic University of Paris, following his ordination to the priesthood in 1992.
