Júlia Sitoe is a marine biologist and the Africa Coordinator at Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS). She was the fmr. Outreach Officer at Love The Oceans, where she led marine conservation recruitment talks and coordinated logistics for various outreach events. She also conducted fisheries data collection for marine megafauna conservation in Mozambique and contributed to oceanographic surveys as part of the EAF-Nansen Programme with FAO/IMR. She holds a degree in Marine Biology from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique.
