Fr. François Michon is the Superior General of the Chemin Neuf Community, a Catholic institute with an ecumenical vocation present in over 30 countries. Previously, he served twice as leader of the community in France — from 1996 to 2003, and again following a decade-long mission in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, where he established a new community. He was ordained a priest within the Chemin Neuf Institute by Cardinal Albert Decourtray in 1994, having made his first vows in the community in 1988. He holds a degree in Political Science.
