Claire des Mesnards is the Secretary of the European Christian Environmental Network (ECEN), an ecumenical network bridging environmental protection with European churches to foster shared action and theological reflection. She coordinates the network's operations, thematic working groups, and strategic environmental initiatives. Previously, she served as a pastor within the United Protestant Church of France and worked with civil society organisations, including roles at the European Confederation of NGOs for sustainable development and international cooperation (CONCORD) and as a European regional coordinator for the Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP). She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Upper Alsace, a degree in Politics from Sciences Po University Strasbourg, and a degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Louvain.
