In line with its goal to showcase innovative climate solutions and support green tech startups, Green Accelerator, powered by illuminem, proudly presents this recap of the Catalysts of Impact Gala 2025.

The gala evening convened a powerhouse of global leaders, researchers, and industry pioneers to accelerate solutions for the world’s most urgent environmental challenges.

Held during the Davos Economic Forum, the event—organised by Earth05 in collaboration with Angel Twin, Future House, E-TRON, Green Accelerator, and UOCEAN 2050—focused on driving innovation in water, energy, food security, AI, and wellness.

Highlights of the evening:

• Strategic discussions and partnerships, leveraging technology and collaboration to drive measurable sustainability progress

• The inaugural Co-Creation Prize recognised groundbreaking scientific and technological advancements designed to improve the lives of 500 million people by 2030

Creating space for transformative discussions

The evening brought together global speakers to explore the intersection of AI, consciousness, and sustainability. Further highlighting the role of technology in environmental responsibility, disaster response, and climate innovation.

• Deepak Chopra shared insights into how AI and immersive reality influence human consciousness, presenting his AI-powered app www.deepakchopra.ai

“When it comes to climate change we need to get rid of this dualistic idea that there’s me and then there’s the environment. We need a spiritual and emotional relationship with what we call the environment.”

• Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi (The Green Sheikh) delivered a strong message on sustainability and intergenerational responsibility.

“I’ve seen both sides, from polluter to protector, and I hope to set an example for the community, especially young people, to pursue more sustainable professions.”

• Marty Sprinzen (CEO, Vantiq) shared how generative AI is being used to assist first responders and communities during climate-related disasters. Vantiq is also working on preventative solutions to mitigate these crises before they happen.

“We’re going to monitor the world in real time, monitor people, in this way we’ll make the world a better and safer place, and we need to do that.”

An AI conversation with Sophia the Robot and her creator, Dr. David Hanson, captivated the audience with insights on how AI is transforming industries, including climate tech. The conversation explored how AI is improving energy efficiency and driving advancements in sustainable materials, demonstrating its potential impact.

"The future of sustainability will be shaped by AI, but only if humans and technology collaborate with purpose."
