🌍 Why it matters for the planet: Space is not a cooling shortcut
• In space, cooling can only happen through radiation, which is far less efficient than air or water-based cooling

• A modest 1-megawatt space data centre would require nearly 980 square meters of radiating surface area
• Existing AI facilities on Earth often use 100 to 1,000 megawatts, making orbital cooling infrastructure exponentially larger and more expensive
• Additional risks include satellite collisions, orbital debris, radiation damage, and costly maintenance
