Vaishali Nigam Sinha

Vaishali Nigam Sinha is the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Sustainability at ReNew, a leading decarbonization solutions company listed on NASDAQ. She is also the Founding Chair of the ReNew Foundation, leading CSR initiatives that have positively impacted lives through programs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In 2025, she became President of the UN Global Compact Network India, the first private sector leader in this role. Vaishali is Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Alliance for Clean Air, serves on the Global Advisory Council for the 1 Trillion Trees Initiative, and is a member of the Governing Council of TERI. Her leadership has earned recognition, including being listed in Reuters’ "Women Trailblazers Fighting Climate Change" and Fortune India’s "50 Most Powerful Women." Vaishali holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Columbia University’s SIPA and is an alumna of Harvard Business School’s OPM Program.
