Glen Nwaila

Glen Nwaila is the Director of the Wits Mining Institute and the African Research Centre for Ore Systems Science, and an Associate Professor of Geometallurgy and Machine Learning at the University of the Witwatersrand. He previously worked across the mining and consulting industries and is an Erasmus Mundus Scholar affiliated with Uppsala University. He holds advanced degrees in Geosciences, Chemical Engineering, and Geology, and is a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa.
