Alex Campbell is Director of Policy and Partnerships at the Long Duration Energy Storage Council, where he leads global policy development and partnerships to advance energy storage in power, hydrogen, and thermal sectors. Previously, he served as Head of Policy and Research at the International Hydropower Association and held key roles in the UK government’s energy department, including Head of Contracts for Difference policy, the UK’s principal renewable energy deployment program, overseeing auctions for offshore wind and various technologies.
