Ukraine becomes a member of ‘European Energy Union’
Ukraine and the European Union have completed the integration of the two energy systems. The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. “Ukraine has become a member of the ‘European Energy Union’. Now our electricity flows to the EU and vice versa. I am grateful to EU members, and personally to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson and everyone, thanks to whom we now have a single energy system,” Zelensky wrote.
